How it works

See how MakePerfectAds turns a website link or product photo into a short, on-brand video ad in five simple steps you control.

MakePerfectAds is an AI video ad generator that turns your website link or a product photo into a short video ad. You add your source, MakePerfectAds works out what you sell and how your brand looks, you confirm one screen, and it plans and produces an 8–20 second ad in your chosen language. There is no timeline to edit: you approve the details and MakePerfectAds does the rest.

This page walks through the five steps you see and the work MakePerfectAds does behind the scenes. For the full list of what is built, see features; for how we compare to other ways of making ads, see why us.

The five steps you see

  1. Add your source. Paste your website or a product link, or upload a product photo (PNG, JPEG or WEBP, up to 5 MB) with a short description.
  2. Understanding it. MakePerfectAds reads the page and gathers what you sell, your offer, your product images and your brand colours when it can detect them.
  3. Confirm details. One screen shows what you will advertise, a main image with thumbnails, the video language and an optional note. Every edit is optional.
  4. Plan & create. MakePerfectAds writes the ad plan, then makes the shots and adds captions, voiceover and music.
  5. Your video. You get a finished MP4 to download, watch and use. You can leave the page while it is made.

What happens behind the scenes

MakePerfectAds does the research and production work so you do not have to. Here is what it does at each stage.

Reads the page and works out what you sell

MakePerfectAds reads your page directly and identifies your business type, product name, description and offer. It does not render JavaScript, and on very large pages it reads the first 4 MB. Some sites block automated readers; if yours does, start from a product photo instead.

Picks your product images

MakePerfectAds collects the images on the page and chooses the ones that show your real product, filtering out logos, textures and duplicates. This keeps the ad focused on what you sell rather than site furniture.

Detects your brand colours

When your brand colours are detectable on the page, MakePerfectAds picks them up and uses them so the ad looks like it belongs to you. When they are not detectable, it chooses a look that suits your product.

Chooses one campaign focus

MakePerfectAds picks a single focus for the ad rather than trying to show everything. On pages with many products, it chooses a focus and asks you one pre-filled question when it is unsure, so you stay in control without extra work.

Writes the plan

MakePerfectAds writes the ad plan: the brief, the hook, the shots, the captions, the voiceover lines and the call to action. Your call to action is used word for word. The plan also checks your script for claims your page does not support, so the ad stays honest. During the invite-only beta, MakePerfectAds writes an AI plan when AI is enabled and a basic plan while production is paused; the plan is read-only, so you approve it or regenerate it.

Makes the shots and adds sound

MakePerfectAds makes the video shots from your product images using Google's Veo video models, with automatic switching when one model is busy. It then adds captions, a voiceover and background music. These production steps are in beta and paused during the waitlist.

Checks the finished video

MakePerfectAds runs automatic checks on the finished video: technical quality, your facts and link, and the language. These checks do not judge whether the ad is persuasive, so watch it before you publish.

What you control

You stay in charge throughout. You choose your source, the language (including mixed styles like Hinglish), the format (vertical 9:16 or landscape 16:9) and the length (8, 10, 12, 15 or 20 seconds). You confirm the details on one screen, you can add a note, and your call to action is used exactly as you write it. You approve the plan or ask for a new one.

What you need

To make an ad you need one source and a few minutes. Specifically:

Saved projects, a private asset library and a reusable brand kit are coming at launch. See pricing for what we can say about plans, and the FAQ for more detail.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to make an ad?

Usually a few minutes. In our October 2026 test runs, 12-second ads were ready one to two minutes after creation started, and you can leave the page while it works. Time depends on the length you choose and current demand, and video creation is paused during the invite-only waitlist.

Do I need a video or a script already?

No. You start from a website link or a single product photo, and MakePerfectAds works out the message, writes the plan and produces the ad. You confirm the details and your call to action is used word for word.

Can I edit the video afterwards?

There is no timeline or scene-by-scene editor. You control the ad before it is made by confirming details, choosing language, format and length, and approving or regenerating the plan, rather than editing the finished clip.

What if my site blocks the reader or has many products?

If your site blocks automated readers, upload a product photo and a short description instead. If your page shows many products, MakePerfectAds picks one focus for the ad and asks you a single pre-filled question when it is unsure.

Does the ad show my real product?

Yes. MakePerfectAds makes the shots from your own product images rather than generic stock footage or an AI presenter, so the ad shows what you actually sell. See features for the full list.
